Blueberry Lavender Mojito
This recipe is provided by Olympic Lavender Heritage Farm and features a delightful blend of blueberries, lavender and mint. For your convenience, both an alcoholic and non-alcoholic version are provided. Please, drink responsibly.
6-8 mint leaves
1½ parts BACARDI Superior Rum (omit if you want alcohol free)
1 ½ ounce Lavender Syrup
1 ounce fresh squeezed Lime Juice or cut a Lime in half and make smaller slices
10-12 fresh Blueberries
1 teaspoon L. angustifolia buds (in tea ball strainer)
Pinch of ground Cardamom (from the Ginger family)
In tall glass, muddle mint leaves, lavender syrup, lime juice, blueberries, lavender, pinch of ground cardamom and rum. (Do not include rum if you are looking for an alcohol-free version)
Muddle just enough to combine flavors, being careful not to over-muddle.
Fill glass with crushed ice. Top with club soda. Stir vigorously and let sit for a few minutes
Garnish with blueberries on a cocktail pick, or throw in a few lavender spikes.
