Each of the lavender farmers featured on this site share a common goal – to create an agritourism destination on their farms that welcomes visitors from around the world to come and experience lavender. We are here to share our farms with you!
You will find the farmers and their families busy on the farms year-round. Springtime finds us pulling weeds and tidying up the farm after the winter dormancy. Summer is a favorite time for us as farmers as we host visitors for the many festivals and events and share the lavender fields with you during the peak of their color. By late summer, farmers are harvesting and processing the lavender. This may include drying for lavender bud, distilling premium quality lavender essential oil, and creating a variety of handcrafted items for the farms’ gift shops. As autumn arrives, the plants are being readied for winter’s dormancy. And although the fields may look quiet during the winter months, the lavender farmers are making all of the “lotions and potions” for the gift shops as well as preparing for the coming year. These farmers share a passion for lavender and for our visitors. Welcome to our farms!
