DESCRIPTION:LAVENDER FARMING EXPERIENCE\nOffered daily on July 26th\, July 27th\, July 31st\, August 1st\, and August 2nd. \nHave you ever dreamed of becoming a farmer?  Do you love lavender?  Interested in distillation of essential oil?  Do you want an up close look at what it takes to be a lavender farmer? \nCome join us for a close and personal experience.  Meet us in our blooming fields of lavender at Jardin du Soleil Lavender Farm and get a first hand look at what goes into the process of growing\, harvesting\, and distilling lavender. \nThis hands on experience will have you working alongside real lavender farm owners.  You’ll walk away with a unique understanding of what it takes to be a lavender farmer and essential oil distiller. \nWhether you are a lavender lover\, an essential oil guru\, a family looking for deeper connection\, or just a curious traveller; this unique lavender experience will create lasting memories. \nThe Lavender Farming Experience Includes: \nStart out the morning with a meet and greet with the farmer and fellow “lavender experiencers” while enjoying local coffee and pastries. \nNext\, spend time getting your hands dirty while learning how to harvest like a pro. \nOnce enough lavender has been harvested we head up to the still where you get to partake in all aspects of the distillation process. \nDuring the distillation you will have time to ask questions\, take notes\, learn more about the farm and the lavender history of the Sequim Dungeness Valley\, and check out the rest of the farm. \nWhen distillation is complete\, you will bottle and take home your very own lavender essential oil made from lavender that you harvested and distilled  yourself. \n  \nDates Available: 7/26/18\, 7/27/18\, 7/31/18\, 8/1/18\, 8/2/18  from 8am till 12pm. \nTicket Prices – Adult $50\, Children 6-18 $10\, Children under 6 – Free \nWeather on the farm varies from hour to hour.  We suggest you dress in layers and bring a rain jacket.   We will have gloves available\, if you have your own feel free to bring them. \nKeep in mind that this is a working farm and you will be handling sharp tools and working with hot equipment.  We do ask if you bring a child\, that they remain with you at all times.  If you are not sure if this is appropriate for your group\, please give us a call.   \nFor other dates and special requests please contact us at info@jardindusoleil.com  or call 360-582-1185
